[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Caribe At\u00f3mico Film Festival<\/strong> is a festival that celebrates Caribbean and Latin American cinema. <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_media_grid element_width=”2″ grid_id=”vc_gid:1704506585493-ddf4a426-70f3-0″ include=”508,510,512,522,528,526″][vc_column_text]The third edition of Caribe At\u00f3mico will take place in Caracas<\/strong> from November 30th to December 7th th, 2025.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

From now<\/strong> until July 30th<\/sup><\/strong> we will be receiving short film submissions for the categories: Fiction, Animation and Documentary<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Please read the festival rules carefully before participating:<\/p>\n

-We have three short film competitions open: Venezuelan short films and Caribbean and Latin American short films<\/strong>. In each category, works are accepted in the following categories: Fiction, Animation and Documentary.<\/p>\n

-All short films produced in any of the countries of Latin America and\/or the Caribbean are eligible to participate.<\/p>\n

-If the production is from other countries, the director must be a national of any Latin American and\/or Caribbean country.<\/p>\n

-All themes are accepted.<\/p>\n

-There is no minimum age to participate.<\/p>\n

-The maximum length for Venezuelan Short Films<\/strong> and Caribbean and Latin American Short Films<\/strong> is 30 minutes<\/strong> (including credits).<\/p>\n

-The maximum duration for the short films Students from Venezuela<\/strong> is 10 minutes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

-For the sections Venezuelan Short Films<\/strong> and Caribbean and Latin American Short Films<\/strong>, all short films produced from January 1, 2024<\/strong> onwards are eligible to participate.<\/p>\n

-All formats are accepted.<\/p>\n

-There are no limitations on the number of short films a director can submit but each entry must be made individually.<\/p>\n

–CAFF<\/strong> does not require a premiere: the short films may be published on the Internet or may compete or have competed in other film festivals in Venezuela or around the world.<\/p>\n

-Registration will be done through Filmfreeway<\/strong> through this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n

-For Venezuelans, there is no registration fee.<\/p>\n

For non-Venezuelans, the registration fee is $5.00<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
