Caribe Atómico Film Festival is a festival that celebrates Caribbean and Latin American cinema.

From the 11th to the 17th of December with screenings, poetry readings, concerts, talks, workshops and much more.

Our aim is to de-gentrify and reconquer spaces, moving through Caracas from east to west with as many audiences as possible, activating collaborations with cultural organizations working in the territory.

10 years ago we made La Guarimba Film Festival, our first festival in Southern Italy. From then on, we became a cultural organization recognized all over the world. It took us a decade, but we have finally returned to our country with everything we have learned and with a great desire to continue learning.

In this first edition, we wanted to bring together old and new friends in a project that celebrates the Caribbean and Latin America through its cinema.

The competitive programme is divided into three sections: From this side, which shows the national talents that continues to work in the country; From that side, which gives space to Venezuelan filmmakers who emigrated and continue to tell our stories from abroad; and The other side, which builds a bridge between us and all the brother countries that make up this beautiful continent.

Thanks to the team of volunteers who have joined this project, to the cultural managers of Venezuela and to the sponsors who have believed in this idea and are helping us to make it a reality.
